Elance: Are They Serious?
Actually this particular project isn’t Elance’s fault, I just can’t believe that: a) someone thought it was all right to post this, and b) someone thought it was all right to bid on this.
Here is the project:
We are in the process of developing a website that is aimed at business students, entrepreneurs, industry Professionals and established businesses. The content will need to be formal and concise.
There are 4 core topics to this project:
1. How to Set Up:
Each profile (28) discusses required licenses, legal structure, hiring employees, tax requirements, and include general and specific business resources. (US)
2. Industry Focus
In depth summaries of all major industries in the US. Plus a Global view. e.g. Finance, Technology, Apparel etc.
3. Copyright & Intellectual Property (US) :
This information should spell out what one needs to do in order to secure things like logos, ideas, inventions . You will need to cover these topics.
Trade Mark
Intellectual Property
Patents4. Investments & Funding:
Informative summaries on who, what and how these investors invest, also links and recommendation. Again US as main focus.
Government grants
Business Loan funds
Bank Loans
Business Angels
Venture capital
This is a big writing project. This is a VERY BIG writing project. And do you know what they are asking for it?
Under $500.
And do you know what the average of the bidding was?
$263.
Pitiful. Honestly.
